Train the Trainer Workshops

Why not become a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator?

Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way

The “Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way” (developed by Jane Nelsen and Lynn Lott) two day training workshop provides a step-by-step approach to starting and leading experientially based Positive Discipline groups.  Participants learn research-based, effective tools for teaching parents how to use discipline that is non punitive as well as kind and firm at the same time.

This training workshop also provides an invaluable opportunity for Day Care Directors, Agency Coordinators and Early Childhood teachers to provide workshops for the parents of the children in their care and also equips them with information on how to train staff in Positive Discipline on an ongoing basis.

Positive Discipline in the Classroom

“Positive Discipline in the Classroom” (developed by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen) two day training workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviours at the same time.

Completion of this workshop qualifies participants to offer Positive Discipline workshops to their peers within an educational setting.
